Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 August 2026

This privacy policy explains how Olga Brown, Business Efficiency Consultant for coaches and consultants, collects, uses and protects personal information. It also explains your rights under UK data-protection law.

1. Who is responsible for your information

The person responsible for processing your personal information (the data controller) is:

Olga Brown
19 Lena Gardens, London, UK
Email: olga.mbrown.uk@gmail.com

2. Information I may collect

I may collect information that you provide when you:

  • submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form;
  • complete the Time, Energy & Revenue Leak Audit;
  • book a complimentary Leak Review or another appointment;
  • communicate with me by email or through LinkedIn; or
  • become a client or otherwise engage my services.

This information may include your name, email address, job title, company name, answers submitted through the audit or LinkedIn form, appointment information, correspondence and any other details you choose to share.

I do not ask you to provide special-category information, such as information about your health, ethnicity, religious beliefs or sexual orientation, through the audit or Lead Gen Form. Please do not include such information unless it is genuinely necessary for your enquiry.

3. Where the information comes from

I normally receive personal information directly from you. I may also receive the information you submit through LinkedIn, the audit platform, an appointment-scheduling provider or another service you use to contact me.

4. How I use your information

I may use your information to:

  • give you access to the resource or audit you requested and provide your personalised results;
  • send follow-up information directly connected with your request;
  • personalise communications using the information you provided;
  • arrange and conduct a complimentary Leak Review or another appointment you book;
  • respond to questions or enquiries;
  • assess whether my services may be relevant to your business;
  • provide services where you become a client;
  • maintain appropriate business, legal, accounting and administrative records;
  • protect the security and proper operation of my services; and
  • improve my audit, communications and services.

I will not automatically add you to an unrelated general marketing newsletter merely because you requested the audit. If I wish to send separate ongoing electronic marketing communications, I will obtain consent where the law requires it and will always provide a clear way to opt out.

5. Lawful bases for processing

UK data-protection law requires me to have a lawful basis for each use of personal information. The bases I rely on are:

Legitimate interests

I rely on legitimate interests to provide and improve the audit, deliver requested follow-up, respond to business enquiries, arrange complimentary reviews, understand interest in my services, maintain ordinary business records and protect my services. My legitimate interests are operating and developing my consultancy, communicating with people who have requested information and keeping appropriate records. I consider whether these interests are outweighed by your rights and interests before relying on this basis.

Steps at your request and performance of a contract

Where you ask about or purchase services, I may process information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform any contract with you.

Consent

I rely on consent where it is required, including for optional electronic marketing to individuals where no other lawful route is available. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.

Legal obligation

I may process and retain information where necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting or regulatory obligations.

6. The audit calculation

The audit uses the answers you provide to calculate indicative workload estimates and generate personalised results, such as the workload area taking most of your hands-on time, estimated hours and the indicative value of time taken away from income-generating tasks. The results are estimates for informational purposes. They are not financial advice and are not used to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

7. Service providers and sharing

I do not sell your personal information. I may share it only where reasonably necessary with trusted service providers that help me operate my business, such as LinkedIn, website and audit platforms, hosting providers, email providers, scheduling tools and customer-management systems, or where disclosure is required by law.

These providers process personal information in accordance with their respective roles, terms and privacy policies. Where a provider processes information on my behalf, I take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate data-protection arrangements are in place.

8. International data transfers

Some service providers may process or store personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, I rely on an applicable adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another legally recognised safeguard. You may contact me for further information about the safeguards relevant to your information.

9. How long information is retained

I retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet applicable legal, accounting or administrative requirements.

Information from people who request the audit but do not become clients will ordinarily be reviewed and deleted after one year. Information connected with a client relationship, transaction, dispute or legal obligation may be kept for longer where reasonably necessary.

10. Security

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against accidental loss, unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or disclosure. However, no online service or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal information;
  • ask for inaccurate or incomplete information to be corrected;
  • request deletion of your information;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • request transfer of information in an appropriate format where the right to data portability applies; and
  • withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.

Your right to object to direct marketing is absolute. You may ask me at any time to stop using your personal information for direct marketing.

These rights are not unlimited and may not apply in every situation. I may need to verify your identity before responding. To exercise a right, email olga.mbrown.uk@gmail.com. I will normally respond within one month, as required by law.

12. Complaints

If you have concerns about how I use your personal information, please contact me first so I can try to resolve them. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection:

13. Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. It does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or behavioural tracking.

14. Providing information

You may choose whether to provide personal information. However, if you do not provide information marked as required, I may be unable to deliver the audit results, respond to your enquiry or arrange a review. You should provide information that is accurate and relevant to your request.

15. External links

This website may contain links to external services, such as LinkedIn or an appointment-booking page. Those services operate under their own privacy notices. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or services that I do not control.

16. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be published on the website with its revision date.
